Mr. Fentress most recently served as General Counsel of Prog Holdings, Inc. (NYSE PRG), the Salt Lake City financial technology holding company for Progressive Leasing an in-store, app-based, e-commerce POS lease-to-own solution; Vive Financial, an omnichannel provider of second-look revolving credit products; Four Technologies, a provider of “BNPL” payment options; and PRG Ventures, offering additional fintech products. Mr. Fentress was engaged in private law practice in Savannah, Georgia, beginning in 1986, where he served as outside counsel to TMX Finance (TitleMax) from its inception in 1998. In 2012 he accepted the position of General Counsel at Progressive Leasing and built the company’s legal and compliance teams. Following the company’s spin-off of the Aaron’s business in 2020, he became General Counsel of the newly-formed Prog Holdings. He retired from Prog Holdings in July 2022 and returned to Savannah.

He graduated from the University of Virginia with his B.A. in Mathematics and obtained his law degree from the University of Georgia.
